My name is Chad Ryan. I work for The News-Sentinel, an afternoon daily newspaper in Fort Wayne, Ind., as a member of the sports staff where my duties include photographing sporting events of all levels, and writing stories about a wide variety of topics.
As a photographer, I’ve covered NFL games, including Super Bowl XLI, major Division 1 college sports, numerous professional minor league sports, high school athletics and a good dose of racing. I’ve also photographed the Indy 500 several times, numerous local stock car events, and NASCAR races.
I started this blog as a way to get photos and other content that will not see newsprint out to race fans in a timely manner. I will do live blogs from the track at several races this season to go with other posts and commentary as they become necessary.
